Group travel is when multiple people travel together to the same destination, often with coordinated activities, shared accommodations, and group rates. At DreamKey Vacations, our group trips include planned itineraries, expert guidance, and built-in opportunities to connect with fellow travelers—all while enjoying the convenience of traveling with a dedicated host.
A: Group travel offers incredible benefits:

A: No! We offer two types of travel experiences:
Hosted Group Adventures: Join one of our curated group trips where we travel with you as your guide
Custom Travel Planning: We design personalized itineraries for individuals, couples, families, or your own private group—whether you want us to host or prefer to travel independently

For custom group trips, we can provide hosting services where a DreamKey team member travels with your group to handle on-site logistics, coordinate activities, and ensure everything runs smoothly. This service is available as an add-on to custom itineraries. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and pricing.

All payments are processed securely through our booking system.
A: Most trips offer flexible payment plans:
1. Deposit: Pay your initial deposit to secure your spot
2. Installments: Make scheduled payments leading up to the trip
3. Final payment: Due 30-90 days before departure (varies by trip).
Payment schedules are customized based on the trip and booking date. We'll provide your personalized payment plan when you book.
A: No problem! You can secure your spot with your deposit independently. Your roommate can book separately and coordinate room assignments with us. Just let us know in your booking notes that you'd like to room together, and we'll make sure you're paired up.
Important: Your roommate must book within 3-7 days (depending on the trip) or your reservation will be repriced based on current occupancy at prevailing rates. Trip capacity is limited, so we recommend your roommate books as soon as possible to lock in your shared rate.
A: If your roommate cancels or becomes unable to complete payments:
You're still confirmed: Your reservation remains secure regardless of your roommate's status
Room rate adjustment: You may need to cover the single occupancy rate difference, or we can adjust your accommodations based on current availability at prevailing rates
Payment responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your roommate makes timely payments. We do not monitor roommate payment schedules
We strongly recommend discussing payment expectations with your roommate upfront and considering travel insurance for added protection.
A: Our cancellation policy varies by trip and is clearly outlined on each trip's detail page under "Trip Terms and Policies." Generally:
Deposits: Non-refundable but may be transferable to future trips (conditions apply)
Cancellation timeframes: Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel
Trip-specific policies: Each trip page includes complete cancellation terms
We provide detailed Trip Notes and Trip Terms & Policies on every trip page at the time of booking.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.

A: Inclusions vary by trip, but typically include:
- Accommodations for the duration of the trip
- Many meals (often all-inclusive resorts and cruises)
- Select activities and excursions
- Ground transportation (airport transfers, group transportation on most trips)
- DreamKey host services (for hosted trips)
Not typically included: Airfare, travel insurance, some meals, optional excursions, spa services, and personal expenses. Full details are provided on each trip's information page.
A: For most trips, yes—airfare is not included and you'll book your own flights. We provide recommended flight times and airport information to help you coordinate. For some international trips, we may offer group flight options—check your specific trip details or contact us.

International trips: Yes, a valid passport is required (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date)
Domestic trips and most Cruises: Government-issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) Some destinations may also require visas or additional documentation. We'll provide a detailed packing and document checklist upon booking.
A: Solo travelers are always welcome! Here's what you need to know:
Bring your own roommate: You're responsible for finding and booking with a roommate to share accommodations and split costs
Single occupancy option: Prefer your own room? Single supplements are available for an additional fee
We do not provide roommate matching: You'll need to arrange your own travel companion
Welcoming atmosphere: Our trips are designed to foster connection, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet fellow travelers
If you're interested in joining a trip but don't have a roommate, we recommend posting in travel groups or asking friends who might be interested!
A: The age range varies depending on the type of trip. Each trip attracts different demographics based on:
Destination: Beach resorts vs. cultural experiences
Vibe: Party-focused vs. relaxation-focused
Trip type: Hosted group adventures vs. custom trips
Client needs: Trips are curated based on the specific group booking
For hosted group trips, we'll provide guidance on the expected traveler profile.
For custom trips, you set the tone and invite your own group.
